In Case You Were Wondering...
5/17/10
We have received some calls from local agencies regarding 2-1-1 Brevard database update procedures.
Some confusion has arisen because some other area organizations are also requesting that you provide information for their databases. We value your time and will only make one formal update request annually. This request will be clearly identified as originating from 2-1-1 Brevard and will include contact information for our 2-1-1 Brevard Community Resource Coordinator, Lakesha McLaughlin. You are always welcome to ask questions or provide us with changes or interim updates at any time by clicking the "Community Services" button at www.211brevard.org or by contacing Lakesha at 631.9290, xt. 216. Thank you for helping us keep the community informed about your important programs and services.

2-1-1 BREVARD'S GAME SHOW EXTRAVAGANZA
2-1-1 Brevard would like to acknowledge our appreciation to the people/businesses/agencies that contributed to the success of our recent fund raising event "Game Show Extravaganza". Although Mother Nature paid our event a visit and left us without power, everyone took it in stride and had a wonderful time. Our silent auction was also a huge success. A big Thank You to everyone who attended and everyone that bid on/won an auction item. Click here for list of donors/sponsors.
2-1-1 Brevard is a Relay Friendly Business
5/17/10
Did you know that 2-1-1 Brevard is available through Florida Telecommunications Relay, Inc. (FTRI) to residents with hearing loss or speech disability? This public service allows people who use text telephone equipment to communitate with people who use standard phones. Text telephone users can contact the 2-1-1 Brevard helpline by dialing 711 to connect to the relay service. Their typed message is read and voiced by a relay operator and our responses are typed by the operator and transmitted back to the text telephone caller. Like 2-1-1, FTRI is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
