Questions:
When should I call 2-1-1?
Call 911 in emergencies and 411 when you need a phone number to a local business. When you need help finding governmental, health or human services, dial 2-1-1.
Are there places where 2-1-1 doesn't work?
There are some limitations to 2-1-1 service. 2-1-1 does not work from most pay phones. Some large businesses may need to program their telephone systems to allow for dialing 2-1-1. Some telephone service providers may not offer access to 211. If you can't reach us by dialing 2-1-1, please dial 632-6688.
Can TDD/TTY users access 2-1-1?
2-1-1 is accessible by TDD/TTY users through the Florida Telecommunications Relay. Dial 7-1-1 to connect.

The Sunshine Service provides a regular telephone call to elderly or disabled people who live alone, are physically or socially isolated, or otherwise would benefit from a routine reassurance call. Calls are usually made daily to check on the individual's well-being, engage in brief friendly conversation, and provide assistance accessing community services if needed.
There is no fee for the Sunshine Service but donations are appreciated.
Dial 2-1-1 for more information or to request an application.
We wish to thank
